I have now gotten feedback from one person in my peer review group. Although my project is short right now, it was said that it contains good material and insight into what happened to the URI Sailing Team after the coach quit. It was suggested that I put more information about the sport of sailing into the story to help some of you non-sailors out there to make sense of it all.
Also, I have more interviews information from my fellow teammates who are helping me with this assignment. I will be updating my rough draft shortly with more interview questions and answers.
I still haven't gotten a response from anyone regarding my issue, and hope to get some input soon. If you have any information you'd like to tell me about an issue on a sports team, whether it be the Red Sox or the Lakers, please let me know so that I can get more insight on your feelings with sports teams.

Informative Project-- The Decline of the URI Sailing Team
For this project, I will be highlighting the Decline of the URI Sailing Team. I was on the team for about a year and a half and experienced a lot of change. The skinny of the story is that the coach lost interest and moved on. In doing so, he managed to participate less with the team and eventually quit before the start of this (spring) season. As a past team member and with the voice of experience from current and past team members, I plan to bring to public the status of the team. In a way, I feel betrayed by the team due to the coach and his disinterest after years of success.
In discussing this topic, I wonder if any of you have any experience with a sports team that has declined in overall quality (either personally or heard of)? If so, what happened to lead up to this change? If not, could you imagine how stressful it would be to have an activity you thoroughly enjoy literally blow-up in front of your face? Also, have you ever been on a sports team that you thought needed change because of its lackluster approach to success?

Intro
Hello Everyone!
My name is Tim Lewin and I am a senior at URI graduating with a major in Writing & Rhetoric and minoring in English. I am a sailor, surfer, skier and general outdoor enthusiast. Sailing has been a huge part of my life as I have been racing sailboats since I was in diapers. My summer jobs and activities all involve sailing as well as in college being on the URI sailing team for a few years. Recently, surfing has re-focused my attention on the way I spend time.
Being from Buffalo, NY does not allow for much surfing and I plan to stay in Rhode Island after graduating. As a sailing and surfing hub, I have appreciated my time in RI and have discovered a lot of new, exciting outdoor territory all around New England.
Just a side note-- A group of friends and I started a Surfing/Skiing/What ever else Blog. Check it out! http://nesurfadventures.blogspot.com/
